Benebone dog chew review
If you have used the Pocket Puppy School app, read any of our articles or seen our content on the internet, then you most likely know that we’re always on the lookout for products that might enhance dog’s lives.
This blog article is no different - Today, let’s review Benebone dog chews! 🧐
What is Benebone?
If you have not heard of them before, then Benebone is an American company. They are dedicated to creating high quality and durable dog chew toys.
Their overall mission is to deliver products that are both, enjoyable, but also safe to chew for dogs.
Is Benebone safe for dogs?
If your dog is a big chewer, then having safe chew toys rather than cooked bones or random sticks outside, is important.
Benebone chew toys are made from durable nylon, which makes them super durable and can basically withstand even the most aggressive chewing. 😁
There are real flavours infused into Benebone chews, which makes them even more appealing to dogs.
It is important to note though that Benebone toys are not edible - they are great for chewing, but you cannot replace them with regular dog treats, cookies etc.

What should you consider, if anything?
While generally Benebone is a great choice as a chew toy, then they might not be suitable for every dog.
It’s good to keep in mind that dogs with existing dental issues, puppies with developing teeth or older dogs with compromised tooth strength might be at risk of injuring their teeth, because of the hardness of the chew toy.
Another thing you might want to consider, before getting one - allergies. Benebone products are made in facilities that also process common allergens like peanuts.
But for us, nothing bad happened while using them, so if you want to try it - we recommend getting a smaller softer Puppy version for starters.
Final thoughts
Overall we think that for heavy chewers and maybe just as simple play time activity, Benebone is a great choice! 👍
It’s safe for dogs to chew, durable and is infused with yummy flavours that will make this taste even better for your dog. We will definitely let our Husky satisfy her chewing desire with Benebone.
But as always, it’s safe to regularly inspect the Benebone chew for signs of wear and replace it when needed. 😁
